Innovision Technology, a provider of silicon-based Micro-LED solutions, has officially launched the Xinmou® P13, a monolithic multi-color micro-display. Utilizing a monolithic multi-color technology approach, the product addresses pain points associated with traditional monochrome displays—such as limited information hierarchy, non-intuitive alerts, and poor visibility in complex scenarios—thereby filling a gap in the silicon-based Micro-LED market for monolithic multi-color products.
The Xinmou® P13 is built upon existing mass-produced driver backplanes and WLVSP® pixel stacking technology. It features a 0.13-inch display size and a 4μm sub-pixel pitch, offering resolutions such as 640×240, 320×480, and 320×240 to meet customer requirements, along with a red-green color scheme. Notably, the product’s physical dimensions and pinout configuration are identical to existing 0.13-inch monochrome micro-displays on the market; this ensures direct compatibility with existing terminal hardware, allowing for immediate deployment without requiring major modifications to current AR eyewear platforms.
In terms of performance, the Xinmou® P13 achieves a peak red-light EQE of 5% and delivers a yellow-light output of approximately 3lm under 25% APL (Average Picture Level) conditions. Both the display module and interface support customization to meet diverse client needs. The accompanying Xinmou® P13E light engine has a volume of just 0.15cc; it is fully compatible with existing monochrome light engines of the same specifications and can be directly integrated into standard eyewear frames.
In practical applications, traditional monochrome displays render all text, icons, and alerts in a single color, making it difficult for users to quickly distinguish information priority during multitasking scenarios—such as navigation, real-time prompting, stock market monitoring, and schedule reminders. The Innovision P13 utilizes a single-chip, stacked red-green dual-color design to achieve color-based information layering: green displays standard information like navigation routes, text, and basic market data, while red highlights critical alerts such as route deviations, risk warnings, market anomalies, and urgent schedule items, making the information hierarchy immediately clear. Additionally, the red and green colors can blend to produce yellow, further aligning with everyday usage habits.
In the current micro-display industry, monochrome solutions offer limited information-conveying capabilities, whereas full-color solutions involving optical combining result in significant increases in power consumption, size, and cost. Innovision Technology’s single-chip multi-color solution precisely addresses this market gap, upgrading the information display experience while retaining the advantages of miniaturization and low power consumption. The P13 has currently entered the small-batch mass production stage.
Innovision Technology stated that it will continue to focus on iterative innovation in silicon-based Micro-LED micro-display and optical communication technologies. The company aims to expand its product portfolio, drive the commercialization and mass production of high-performance products, and provide technical support for core sectors such as near-eye displays, digital lighting, and optical communications. At the same time, the company remains committed to fostering deep strategic partnerships with business clients and collaborating across the industry supply chain to drive the optimization and upgrading of comprehensive industry solutions.
